Fire Fighting Strategy
Aerotech 1st Response has championed the rapid initial attack strategy. Adopted in South Australia by the Country Fire Service (CFS) in 1997 rapid initial attack focuses on 'hitting a fire hard and fast'; mobilising as many resources as possible quickly to provide a concentrated and aggressive attack on a fire when it is in its early stages. This can be the difference between a minor incident and a full-scale emergency.
Aerotech recognises time is of the essence and its fleet of aircraft are ready for action at a moments call. Aerotech 1st Response can boast the fastest response worldwide. We are airborne within 3 minutes of receiving a request for help and it then only takes 2 minutes to land, reload and get airborne again.
We have access to over 100 strips just in South Australia so this allows for great fire fighting efficiencies.
Our focus is on developing the most effective aerial fire fighting strategies worldwide so we can protect Australian lives and assets in a worldclass way.
