Q: How much fuel does the aircraft use?

A: Between 200 and 350 litres per hour, depending on which aircraft.

A: It ranges depending on the aircraft:

AT 802 3,100 litres

AT 602 2,400 litres

AT 502 1,900 litres


Q: How many horse power does the aircraft have?

A: This varies depending on the aircraft

AT 802 1350hp

AT 602 1050hp

AT 502 750hp


Q: How much do the aircraft cost?

A: Approx $1.8m for a new AT 802


Q: How fast do the aircraft travel?

A: Around 150 knots

Q: How do I order a job?  What do I need to provide?

A: You will need an Aerotech job order form along with a map to order a job.  The easiest way of doing this is to use our online order form on our website.  Input all your details and select your paddock using Google Earth, then submit your order.  One of our staff will then be in contact to confirm your job and the timing of it.  You can also download an order form from our website and fax us, along with a map of where.


Q: How much does it cost?

A: This will depend on the type of job and varies. Contact your nearest base and they will provide you with a fixed price quote.


Q: How long does it take to get a job done from the time of ordering?

A: Normally 1-2 days, however it may take longer due to weather limitations or workloads.


Q: How much can an aircraft spray in 1 day?

A: This depends on the type of work but typically between 800 to 1,500 ha per day.


Q: What do I need to supply?

A: When spraying, you can supply chemical otherwise you can arrange for it to be supplied by the agent or supplier.  You also need to supply a map / job order, and water if required. 

When spreading, please supply a map and job order, product required needs to be delivered to airstrip and auger for loading into our loader.
